Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deliver, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Write, review, debug, and support high-quality production code.
  • Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and automation practices.
  • Establish validation standards for AI-assisted engineering outputs, including secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security.
  • Identify and automate remediation for recurring issues to improve operational stability.
  • Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote reuse of effective technology patterns.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and opportunity-focused team culture.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Practical experience with Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Git, JIRA or ServiceNow, Jenkins, Bitbucket, CI/CD, source code management, and software development life cycle practices.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, automation, and operational stability.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, GCP, DevOps practices, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Identity and Access Management, particularly Privileged Access Management.
