Base Salary
$144k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software components.
- Align development teams around shared technical direction and collaborate on solution interfaces and implementation enablers.
- Define and participate in solution-level non-functional requirements, architecture, code reviews, and documentation reviews.
- Mentor team members in engineering best practices and provide technical guidance to peer, DevOps, and support organizations.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and estimates.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, and processes to improve software quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot code-level problems and resolve challenging programming and design issues.
- Design secure, scalable, available, and maintainable applications and processes.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and technical debt elimination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Three years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
- Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software components.
- Experience with unit testing, test-driven development, non-functional requirements, code reviews, mentoring, scalability, security, availability, software architecture, technical roadmaps, and technical debt elimination.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, JDBC, XML, XSD, Log4J, JSON, web services, Spring, Spring Web Service, Spring Boot, microservices, SOAP, RESTful services, JMS, Kafka, Cassandra, Grafana, GraphQL, JUnit, Groovy, Redis, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Quantum Metric, Tomcat, and Microsoft Azure.
