Responsibilities
- Devise test approaches and strategies and support the creation and implementation of automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API tests using JavaScript, C#, Selenium, Playwright, and related frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test coverage across evolving applications.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams on requirements, acceptance criteria, testability, and defect resolution.
- Perform exploratory and negative testing, root cause analysis, defect documentation, and API testing.
- Track and report automation execution, coverage metrics, and test preparation and execution data across multiple environments.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and promote automation and software quality best practices.
- Test AI-enabled applications, including designing datasets and evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent degree.
- The posting states 7+ years of software test automation experience, while another experience section states 4–6 years of total software testing experience and 2–4 years of test automation experience.
- Proficiency with C#, JavaScript, automated test frameworks, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software QA methodologies.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, NUnit, MSTest, TestCafe, Playwright, Jest, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience testing and automating APIs using tools or frameworks such as Postman and RestSharp.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile product testing, software release stages, test framework design, and debugging.
- Experience using Copilot tools such as Codex, Claude, and GitHub Copilot, and experience testing AI applications and designing evaluation datasets.
- Preferred experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust and cloud testing platforms such as Sauce Labs or BrowserStack.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
