Responsibilities
- Analyze functional business applications and design specifications.
- Develop, test, debug, maintain, and enhance software products.
- Write programs to specifications and troubleshoot issues with technical staff.
- Research, test, and verify software patches and fixes.
- Create block diagrams, logic flow charts, version-control baseline documentation, reports, and briefings.
- Provide technical direction to programmers and develop project schedules and timelines.
- Coordinate with customer security personnel on project certification and accreditation.
- Support customer requirements, complaints, suggestions, system use, training, and technical improvements.
- Use VPN technologies and protocols, client databases, communication and messaging systems, and field IT systems.
- Support customer leadership through calendar management, meeting coordination, agendas, off-sites, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate domestic and international ordering and shipping of materials.
Requirements
- 11+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or communications, with relevant experience accepted in place of the degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Experience with tactical communications and equipment.
- Knowledge of client databases, communication and messaging systems, supply and equipment ordering systems, field activities, field IT issues, and project management processes.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access, plus working-level knowledge of SharePoint, wikis, web products, and databases.
- Ability to support customer mission areas, directorates, operations, and leadership activities.
- Preferred qualifications include PMP or ITIL certification, military experience, senior operations and technical management experience, domestic and overseas IT, telecommunications and security experience, field communications knowledge, and OCONUS travel experience.
- Willingness to potentially travel up to 10% OCONUS.
