Responsibilities
- Define quality strategies based on risk, business impact, and technical requirements.
- Plan, design, and execute functional and non-functional tests for web, mobile, API, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scenarios using Cypress, Robot Framework, and Appium.
- Implement end-to-end testing to validate integrations between systems.
- Apply shift-left quality practices from solution conception through production delivery.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and define preventive actions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and identify product risks, dependencies, and impacts.
- Promote quality practices across Product, Development, and Operations teams.
- Define and monitor quality metrics to support data-informed decisions.
- Evaluate and apply generative AI tools and prompt-engineering practices to test generation, requirements analysis, risk identification, automation, and quality processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Analyst, Test Engineer, QA professional, or in a related role.
- Experience defining multi-layer test strategies across frontend, backend, APIs, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Advanced knowledge of Cypress, Robot Framework, and Appium or comparable automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing techniques.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing with JMeter and Locust.
- Experience with automated-test integration into CI/CD pipelines and with Git version control practices.
- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and investigate problems.
- Knowledge of UX, usability, and accessibility.
- Experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Kiro AWS.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering for test-case generation, automation, and software quality analysis.
- Analytical, collaborative, solution-oriented profile with strong communication and influence skills in multidisciplinary teams.
