Responsibilities
- Act as a technical reference for quality and promote Quality Engineering best practices.
- Define quality and test strategies based on risks, business impact, and technical requirements.
- Plan, design, and execute functional and non-functional tests for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve automated test scenarios using Cypress, Robot Framework, and Appium.
- Define and implement end-to-end scenarios to validate system integrations.
- Apply Shift Left Quality practices from solution conception through production delivery.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and define preventive actions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and identify product risks, dependencies, and impacts.
- Promote a quality culture across Product, Development, and Operations teams.
- Define and monitor quality metrics to support data-driven decisions.
- Evaluate and promote the use of generative AI and prompt engineering in quality processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Analyst, Test Engineer, QA professional, or in a related role.
- Experience defining multi-layer test strategies covering frontend, backend, APIs, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Advanced knowledge of Cypress, Robot Framework, and Appium automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing techniques.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger or similar tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter and Locust.
- Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD, automated-test pipeline integration, and Git version control.
- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and investigate problems.
- Knowledge of UX, usability, and accessibility.
- Experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Kiro AWS.
- Knowledge of prompt-engineering techniques for test-case generation, automation, and software quality analysis.
- Analytical, collaborative, problem-solving profile with excellent communication and influencing skills in multidisciplinary teams.
