Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering colleagues to understand customer needs, shape solutions, and deliver tested, supportable software.
- Design, build, and maintain backend components and APIs for SimCorp Dimension using C#/.NET and related technologies.
- Improve system performance, maintainability, reliability, and build efficiency through pragmatic engineering and continuous improvement.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly for exploration, implementation, testing, documentation, and code review.
- Contribute to automated testing, version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Support technical decisions and share knowledge through code reviews, pairing, mentoring, and collaboration across the team.
Requirements
- Experience developing production software with C# and/or APL, or comparable experience demonstrating strong backend engineering capability.
- Interest in contributing to technical design and decisions for scalable, high-performing applications, services, or APIs.
- Familiarity with automated testing, version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Sound judgment regarding quality, security, and maintainability when using AI-assisted development tools.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn additional technologies, including Dyalog APL, and deepen knowledge of investment-management software.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership growth.
- Experience with Angular, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Oracle databases, or financial systems is welcome but not required.
