Base Salary
$167k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ELT pipelines and semantic models using dbt, SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Own the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, governance, certification, semantic modeling, data quality, observability, and lineage.
- Architect and contribute to a React-based executive analytics portal with embedded analytics and AI-assisted insights.
- Design and deploy conversational AI agents, metadata and semantic frameworks, RAG pipelines, reasoning engines, and safety guardrails over enterprise data.
- Partner with senior leaders and domain experts across Finance, People, Privacy, and Legal to translate strategic priorities into scalable data products.
- Define engineering standards for architecture, Terraform-based infrastructure, CI/CD, version control, operational SLAs, and operational excellence.
- Lead or mentor engineers and influence technical direction across the Enterprise Insights domain.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data or Software Engineering with expert-level SQL and Python skills.
- Strong system design, architecture, automation, performance tuning, and scalable data systems experience.
- Deep proficiency with dbt and modern cloud data platforms, preferably Databricks, including semantic modeling, data quality, governance, and lineage.
- Hands-on experience implementing GenAI systems, LLM agents, or RAG architectures, including context engineering, reliability frameworks, guardrails, and evaluation methodologies.
- Experience building production-grade interactive applications with Streamlit or React and mastery of at least one of Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or Hex.
- Expertise with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
- Strong data storytelling, communication, cross-functional collaboration, executive influence, roadmap development, and engineering leadership skills.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
