Base Salary
$145k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a domain expert and go-to engineer for a critical platform area.
- Lead technically complex initiatives from design through delivery with attention to scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design cross-team solutions and influence architecture and technical direction.
- Own features and systems end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, and production support.
- Build and evolve scalable web experiences, internal applications, external partner modules, services, and APIs.
- Apply full-stack practices across service design, API contracts, component architecture, performance, accessibility, testing, and maintainability.
- Partner with product, design, engineering, architecture, business analysis, and project management stakeholders.
- Identify improvements to performance, stability, maintainability, processes, and tooling.
- Participate in design and code reviews and help deliver integrated and secure solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineers across multiple teams and contribute to engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with ReactJS or NextJS.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core and its ecosystem.
- Experience building Single Page Applications and modern full-stack web applications.
- Experience designing and operating distributed, high-throughput, low-latency services and APIs at scale.
- Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence engineering decisions.
- Preferred experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, large-scale transactional systems, NodeJS, reusable JavaScript modules, Micro Front Ends, mobile and responsive interfaces, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Kafka, Elasticsearch, AWS DynamoDB, and ticketing, inventory management, or e-commerce systems.
