Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership within the Engagement domain and collaborate with adjacent engineering and product teams.
- Write scalable, maintainable code and perform coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Lead and independently own projects or components from start to finish.
- Participate in technical discussions, propose solutions, and drive improvements to team performance and efficiency.
- Mentor peers, share engineering knowledge, and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate timelines, deliverables, blockers, and project status with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Investigate AI opportunities for automating team processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience focused on scalable system design and development.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript, Svelte, React, Next.js, or Vue.
- Proficiency with Node.js, Kubernetes, WebSockets, Pub/Sub, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of distributed-systems concepts.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and team guidance.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
