Base Salary
$170k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver product and platform features and services.
- Own technical designs from architecture and implementation through deployment and operations.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and establish engineering standards through reviews and design discussions.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence direction across multiple teams.
- Mentor engineers and help grow team engineering capabilities.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and developer tooling as needed.
Requirements
- Require 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems.
- Require strong programming skills in one or more of Go, Python, Java, or C/C++.
- Require experience building cloud-native and distributed systems with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Require knowledge of software design, data structures, APIs, and unit, integration, and automated testing strategies.
- Require experience with Git workflows, branching and merge strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Require the ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction.
- Require willingness to work on CI/CD and automation as team needs require.
- Prefer experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Prefer Bash, Groovy, or PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Prefer experience with Helm, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, observability, performance tuning, or large-scale storage and data systems.
- Require a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
