Responsibilities

  • Research, test, validate, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage AWS infrastructure with the AWS Console and Ansible.
  • Perform technical analysis of Windows operating systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain automation and tooling using PowerShell, Python, YAML, and React.
  • Support critical infrastructure issues across cloud and on-premise devices.
  • Maintain Mercury security hardware and CCTV systems.
  • Lead automation, process improvement, and ambiguous technical projects.
  • Implement AWS services and cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Use Git and Amazon internal development tools and code pipelines.
  • Create technical documentation and collaborate with Operations and internal Amazon teams on complex issues.

Requirements

  • Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and strong understanding of Windows operating systems and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of version control, debugging, and code structure.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and systems.
  • Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Ansible, YAML, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
