Base Salary
$240k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship services supporting custody, transfers, stablecoin issuance, and compliance workflows.
- Own a service or capability through production readiness and lead medium-scope projects such as API updates, partner integrations, and critical-path reliability improvements.
- Lead cross-service initiatives involving API versioning, data model migrations, and compliance-driven workflow changes.
- Improve reliability and performance through logging, tracing, alerts, failure handling, query tuning, caching, and backpressure strategies.
- Build idempotent, high-throughput transfer workflows with strong audit trails and secure key operations.
- Collaborate with product managers, compliance teams, engineers, banking partners, and crypto infrastructure providers.
- Contribute to technical direction through design documents, mentoring, documentation, and pragmatic regulatory tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Experience appropriate for a senior software engineering role designing and operating production services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities and significant ownership.
- Ability to design reliable, secure, and evolvable systems for regulated financial workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with product, compliance, engineering, and external infrastructure partners.
