Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Build and support cloud-native applications and maintain algorithms across interconnected systems.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools while validating outputs through review, testing, and security practices.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve code quality, system architecture, and application performance.
- Guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability.
- Experience developing in large corporate environments using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Experience building AWS cloud-native applications using Spring Boot, Kafka, SQS, ECS, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to validate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, Cloudflare or Akamai, React, regulated environments, database tuning and optimization, technology lifecycle management, and vulnerability management.
