Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Core Java and Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
- Work with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
- Collaborate effectively with Japanese stakeholders using Japanese communication skills at JLPT N3 or above.
- Follow software development lifecycle and Agile practices while working independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of Java application development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Core Java, Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks, SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Japanese communication skills at JLPT N3 or above.
- Preferred experience includes Snowflake, AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Japanese client or offshore/onshore delivery models.
