Responsibilities
- Plan and implement regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, performance, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Create and automate test cases, scripts, and environments for repeatable testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business partners, end users, and QA engineers on testing strategies and quality practices.
- Document and analyze test results, manage defects and test case databases, reproduce issues, and verify fixes.
- Enhance and maintain the test automation framework and identify ways to reduce testing time and effort.
- Research and implement testing technologies and approaches, including model-based testing, record-and-replay, and machine learning applications.
- Champion quality and testing best practices across development teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Experience with SQL and database validation testing.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Understanding of cloud-hosted applications in Azure or AWS environments.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Experience testing microservices and API-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
