Responsibilities
- Build and ship mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native and TypeScript.
- Create high-performance mobile interfaces for complex financial workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver complete experiences.
- Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, scalable patterns, reusable components, and mobile infrastructure.
- Own significant mobile features from design through deployment and maintain a high quality bar.
- Mentor engineers on mobile best practices and React Native development.
- Participate in code reviews and drive technical excellence.
- Contribute to the agentic-based software manufacturing pipeline.
- Potentially rotate onto the Forward Deployed team to solve time-sensitive mobile challenges with advisors.
Requirements
- 6+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 3 years with React Native.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with both iOS and Android platforms.
- Full-stack engineering experience and AWS infrastructure and deployment experience.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Experience building complex, data-intensive mobile applications.
- Ability to work autonomously, drive projects from idea to completion, and deliver high-quality experiences on schedule.
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a product-focused mindset.
- Preferred qualifications include fintech or financial-services experience, native iOS or Android development, mobile security and compliance knowledge, customer-facing technical experience, financial data visualization, rapid prototyping, startup experience, offline-first architectures, and mobile CI/CD and testing frameworks.
