Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for DXP, CMS, eCommerce, CRM, PIM, DAM, and customer support platforms.
- Design scalable API-led architectures using REST, GraphQL, middleware, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
- Produce HLA and HLD documentation and oversee architectural adherence through project delivery.
- Define architectural runway with product owners, engineering leads, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate solutions for scalability, security, performance, and strategic alignment.
- Lead architectural governance across Optimizely, Sitecore, Acquia, CommerceTools, Optimizely Commerce, D365 CRM, ServiceNow, and related MarTech systems.
- Support vendor selection, RFP responses, and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Ensure integration across PIM, DAM, SAP, Hyperion, D365, ODP, CDP, analytics platforms, and third-party systems.
- Embed privacy-by-design, security-by-design, and AI-by-design principles.
- Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams and act as Technical Design Authority for commercial solutions.
- Contribute to technology maturity assessments and future-state models.
Requirements
- Proven solution architecture experience across enterprise commercial, digital experience, CRM, and eCommerce technologies.
- Expertise with DXP and CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Acquia, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms including CommerceTools, Optimizely Commerce, and BigCommerce Enterprise or similar.
- Hands-on experience architecting and integrating D365 Sales/CRM, Customer Service, CDPs, and marketing automation systems.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow for customer service, case management, and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of APIs, GraphQL, microservices, middleware, and ESB patterns, with Azure Integration Services preferred.
- Experience creating high-quality HLAs and HLDs and operating independently and proactively.
- Strong communication skills with PMs, BAs, engineering teams, C-suite, and global business leaders.
- Experience with enterprise cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of architecture modeling using C4, ArchiMate, or equivalent.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud hosting models, and containerization.
- Understanding of web technologies, headless architecture, Jamstack, React, and Next.js or similar.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance, privacy, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies including agile, SAFe, waterfall, and DevOps.
