Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, automate, and maintain payment applications on Android-based POS devices.
- Use Java and Kotlin to support modern Android development and future system upgrades.
- Apply domain engineering and modular architecture to maximize reuse across Android POS devices.
- Implement MVVM/MVP architecture, dependency injection, reactive programming, RESTful API integrations, and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, and overall stability.
- Implement high-quality UI/UX in collaboration with designers and debug and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver applications and features.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in coding, design, and development practices.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Android development.
- Strong Java proficiency and a solid understanding of Kotlin concepts.
- Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, modularization, dependency injection, and reactive programming.
- Experience with Dagger or Hilt and RxJava or Coroutines/Flows.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, WebSockets, SSL/TLS, OAuth, JWT, and token-based authentication.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, object-oriented design, and software architecture skills.
- Knowledge of unit testing and automation frameworks including JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
- Knowledge of software quality metrics and mechanisms for implementing and monitoring them.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
