Responsibilities
- Identify product gaps and solutions in fraud, abuse, and risk management across platform and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product, business, and program management teams to deliver commitments.
- Participate in technical and product reviews and maintain existing products.
- Research Android and fraud-tool advancements to keep products current.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and operationally excellent code.
- Complete assigned code and design reviews.
- Work with backend and SRE engineers to build and maintain products, solutions, and services while tracking impact and observability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation for cross-department, cross-location, and cross-organization audiences, including senior leadership.
- Experience making architectural tradeoffs to rapidly deliver software solutions.
- Experience as a successful software development leader for large-scale, highly available internet and mobile applications.
- Experience working with and growing geographically distributed partner teams.
- Experience with the Android SDK.
- Understanding of multithreaded applications and concurrency handling.
- Fluency in Java, Kotlin, or C++.
- Understanding of Android or Linux operating-system internals.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD tools.
