Responsibilities
- Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software.
- Develop secure and scalable software solutions from technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Research and evaluate technical solution alternatives, frameworks, and technologies.
- Perform feasibility studies, logic designs, flowcharting, input-output analysis, and cost and time analysis.
- Manage production incidents and participate in an on-call pager support rotation.
- Follow software development, quality assurance, quality control, security, and documentation standards.
- Support project metrics collection and reporting and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Up to 3 years of experience in software engineering.
- Knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and on diverse, geographically distributed project teams.
- High initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
