Base Salary
$187k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the current state of AWS systems and identify gaps and infrastructure improvement opportunities.
- Improve operational excellence across the USPTO AWS environment and participate as a final escalation point to meet response SLAs.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and customers to define technical requirements and objectives.
- Lead system improvement design, support AI practice adoption, and help oversee client deliverables.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers while advancing secure cloud strategies.
- Build cloud adoption strategies with senior leadership, enterprise architecture teams, and agency personnel.
- Maintain and prioritize a backlog of improvements based on customer requests.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status eligible for Public Trust clearance is required.
- At least 10 years of IT or digital transformation experience is required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architectures and implementations is required.
- Experience leading multi-tenant cloud systems, including landing zones and multi-account systems, is required.
- Experience managing and developing team members is required.
- Experience developing and managing high-availability, secure, automated solutions aligned with best practices is required.
- Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab is preferred.
- Professional AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications are preferred.
- Experience bridging on-premise systems with cloud environments is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
