Base Salary

$132k - $178k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead standards and guidelines for deployments to Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
  • Stand up, operate, and sustain Kubernetes clusters in Azure lab and classified production environments.
  • Deploy and configure Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and other DevSecOps tools across virtual machine and Kubernetes environments.
  • Direct automation for virtual machine infrastructure-as-code pipelines using Packer, Ansible, and shell scripts.
  • Architect, maintain, and enhance IaC build, test, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and manage Linux-based Kubernetes clusters and integrate platform tools using Helm.
  • Onboard user teams and support application and infrastructure integration through automated pipelines.
  • Define security requirements and provide DevSecOps architecture, engineering, coaching, and technical leadership.
  • Perform monitoring, patching, upgrades, vulnerability response, and remediation for Kubernetes nodes and platform applications.
  • Educate teams on DevSecOps practices, tooling, and platform adoption.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of DevOps or cloud experience.
  • Experience managing Linux and Linux-based operating systems.
  • Experience with software architecture, engineering, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Experience with Git version control, containerization, Kubernetes deployments, persistent volumes, volume claims, and Container Storage Interface plugins.
  • Experience providing technical leadership for DevOps or cloud teams and coaching teams and customers.
  • Proficiency with Agile lifecycle management processes and tools.
  • DoDM 8140 certification and Security+ certification.
  • Preferred experience includes Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, GitLab CI/CD, Platform One Big Bang, Anchore, OpenSCAP, Prisma/Twistlock, secure development, and software supply-chain security practices.
