Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-scale infrastructure and operate distributed technologies.
- Own a portion of the infrastructure roadmap and improve operational efficiency and cloud-cost management.
- Drive organization-wide information security and compliance programs, including ISO and SOC 2.
- Build infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, CI/CD, centralized logging, monitoring, and observability platforms.
- Design and perform business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
- Monitor critical metrics, reduce incident response times, and track resilience, performance, availability, and SLAs.
- Gather, translate, and prioritize customer requirements and help define product roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering or science field.
- 1–4 years of experience running high-scale cloud infrastructure.
- Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix administration and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Go.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with deployment automation, Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, Prometheus, Datadog, Sentry, and OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of databases, Kafka, Elasticsearch, JVMs, Nginx, HAProxy, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Desire to understand systems deeply beneath their abstractions.
- B2B software experience is preferred.
