Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, monitor, and support scalable application and platform capabilities.
- Build responsive, reusable, accessible frontend experiences with React, TypeScript, Redux, and Tailwind CSS.
- Integrate frontend applications with secure .NET backend services and REST APIs.
- Shape requirements and technical approaches with Product, Architecture, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to reusable components, shared patterns, documentation, code reviews, technical designs, and engineering practices.
- Modernize applications through refactoring, technical debt reduction, framework upgrades, and migration from legacy patterns.
- Build capabilities for workflows, real-time collaboration, issue tracking, reporting, document review, and customer interaction.
- Integrate data-driven, search, agentic, and AI-enabled capabilities into production web applications.
- Contribute to Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines, automated testing, deployment automation, environment management, monitoring, and production diagnostics.
- Apply secure development, reliability, performance, availability, scalability, and operational-support practices.
- Own features, services, defects, and technical improvements through production support.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and collaborate across Product, Solution Engineering, Data & AI Engineering, Platform Reliability, Architecture, and Security teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience developing production software in application engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong experience building production web applications with modern full-stack technologies.
- Strong production experience with React and TypeScript, particularly for real-time collaborative applications.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and contributing to the design of new REST APIs.
- Experience building, modernizing, or operating scalable web applications in production environments.
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-hosted applications; practical Microsoft Azure experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of software design, testing, code quality, maintainability, security, and performance.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, source control, code review, and modern software delivery practices.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools or LLM-enabled coding workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, Platform Reliability, and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively across globally distributed teams.
- Preferred qualifications include C# experience, AG-UI or other AI integration technology experience, real-time collaborative systems experience, low-code or hybrid development familiarity, multi-cloud experience across Azure and AWS, and application modernization experience.
- Preferred domain experience includes due diligence, document review, workflow, reporting, Q&A, risk management, transaction delivery, energy, infrastructure, renewables, assurance, or certification.
