Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, resilient, and real-time backend banking solutions using Java, Kotlin, Spring, Maven, Azure, Prisma, and Kafka.
- Refine, code, test, and deploy owned solutions in on-premise and cloud environments.
- Drive test automation, continuous delivery, and deployment using Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Fortify, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Solve technical and functional challenges and contribute to the technical backbone of front-end Lit applications and Java APIs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads and business colleagues in an agile working environment.
- Use AI-assisted development workflows and prompt engineering to generate code, tests, and documentation and improve development productivity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in backend software development and a thorough understanding of test automation, continuous delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to refine, code, test, and deploy work independently with a DevOps mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual and architectural understanding.
- Interest in current software development and technology trends.
- Excellent social and communication skills for collaboration with business colleagues.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and pair-coding with LLMs, plus a strong vibe-coding mindset.
- Strong prompt-engineering skills for producing high-quality code, tests, and documentation through AI tools.
