Responsibilities

  • Partner with AWS Sales and customers to formulate and execute technical strategies that drive AWS adoption and revenue objectives.
  • Design scalable, flexible, and resilient AWS architectures that address customer business problems.
  • Help customers build, migrate, and deploy applications, software, and services on AWS Cloud.
  • Lead architectural discussions and educate customers on AWS cloud solutions and best practices.
  • Conduct customer training sessions and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
  • Act as a technical liaison among customers, AWS service engineering teams, and support.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Written and verbal English-language communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with AWS technologies from a development/operations perspective, end-user or developer communities, legacy-solution cloud migrations, and the financial services industry.
