Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Standardize automation patterns, conventions, shared libraries, and best practices.
- Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous testing pipelines.
- Improve automation reliability through error handling, retries, logging, diagnostics, scheduling, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Identify critical scenarios and edge cases to expand test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and software quality improvements.
- Stay current with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, SDET, or test automation engineering roles.
- Strong Java and/or Python skills with experience writing clean, maintainable, reusable code.
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience building or evolving automation frameworks and shared libraries.
- Experience with automation execution models including scheduling, orchestration, retries, and monitoring.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is preferred.
