Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement payment and messaging solutions using Java and VolPay.
- Customize and enhance VolPay workflows and integrations for payment schemes including SEPA, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.
- Develop and maintain APIs and interfaces connecting internal systems with external payment networks.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, technical experts, and project managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in system architecture design, solution reviews, technical documentation, code reviews, unit testing, and UAT support.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues involving payment processing and integrations.
- Contribute to development-process improvements and DevOps pipelines.
- Provide development estimates, deliver code within committed timelines, and support deployments and post-Go-Live activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional Java development experience, including core Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework.
- Strong experience integrating, configuring, and developing workflows on the VolPay platform or a similar payment platform.
- Experience with financial messaging and payment flows involving SWIFT, ISO 20022, SEPA, SIC, MEPS, or HK payment schemes.
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs for payment and banking applications.
- Familiarity with payment digitalization, PSD2 regulatory requirements, and fraud detection systems.
- Strong SQL, data modeling, and systems integration experience.
- Experience in private banking or financial services environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of agile software development and distributed delivery teams.
