Responsibilities
- Partner with account teams and Customer Success to identify customer use cases, challenges, and blockers to Managed OpenShift adoption.
- Remove organizational, competitive, and technical blockers to enterprise-wide Managed OpenShift adoption and consumption.
- Define customer-approved, enterprise-ready Managed OpenShift architectures and contribute to Success Planning.
- Design and execute tailored solutions that address customer adoption blockers.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations based on customer business and technical requirements.
- Provide product feedback to Managed OpenShift Product and SRE teams.
- Demonstrate consultative selling skills by designing and proposing solutions with business acumen.
- Build relationships with customer champions and advocate for Cloud Services within customer organizations and Red Hat.
- Facilitate pre- and post-sales technical deep dives, proofs of concept, workshops, and enablement events.
- Share knowledge and findings with team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, IT architect, or in an equivalent customer-facing technical role within enterprise accounts.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and their native service ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat managed cloud services, including ROSA and ARO, and solid knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift.
- Product knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.
- Consultative selling skills and the ability to design and propose solutions with business acumen.
- Experience developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels in large enterprise IT organizations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Broad understanding of the application lifecycle from development to operations, including containers, container management and security, and CI/CD tooling.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Relevant mid-level Red Hat certifications are preferred, including RHCSDSM, RHCSDAAAP, RHCSOAD, or RHCSOIA.
- Public cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
