Base Salary
$240k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term technical strategy for Crusoe’s storage engine.
- Leverage system programming expertise to build the foundations of the V2 storage re-architecture.
- Architect and implement solutions utilizing industry-standard storage protocols.
- Drive and maintain contributions to the open-source community.
- Serve as the final arbiter for critical architecture decisions across the organization.
- Lead teams to solve complex bottlenecks in the stack.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership and Product to align technical capabilities with business milestones.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in building and operating large-scale distributed cloud computing infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep knowledge of distributed state and data protection at petabyte scale.
- Mastery of professional software engineering practices for the full SDLC.
- Ability to lead initiatives across the engineering organization.
