Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, design, deploy, and support media production, broadcast, and content delivery solutions.
  • Lead the implementation and modernization of broadcast, IPTV, cloud-based media, and streaming workflows.
  • Assess and integrate scalable cloud media workflows and services to improve efficiency, resiliency, and business agility.
  • Collaborate with Editorial, Engineering, DevOps, Support, Real Estate, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Manage technical projects and vendor engagements, including planning, communication, risk management, and reporting.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies across broadcast, cloud, AI, streaming, and media operations.
  • Use AI-enabled tools and approaches to accelerate problem resolution, automate workflows, improve knowledge management, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in broadcast engineering, media technology, television production, or related media environments.
  • Hands-on experience with media production and broadcast systems, including video, audio, contribution, distribution, monitoring, or newsroom workflows.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and media workflows, including experience supporting or deploying solutions on platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with streaming and IP-based media technologies and protocols such as SRT, RIST, and LRT.
  • Familiarity with NDI, DANTE, and related technologies is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical initiatives, vendors, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams in a global organization.
  • Interest in innovation, continuous learning, and leveraging AI technologies to improve media operations and business processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
