$102k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and develop features for Copilot Notebooks.
- Identify dependencies and create design documents for a product area.
- Lead by example and mentor engineers in producing quality results using Agentic Engineering.
- Use product and partner expertise to drive project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Serve periodically as a Designated Responsible Individual and guide on-call engineers in monitoring and restoring services.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, usability, observability, and performance while leveraging internal, peer, open-source, and industry solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and applicable customer or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred: master's degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience with generative AI, large language models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions, and cloud-scale data platforms.
- Preferred: 1+ years leveraging AI coding agents to develop product features.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale distributed systems and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
- Preferred: demonstrated ownership of complex engineering projects and effective cross-team collaboration.
