Base Salary
$102k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own areas of the Azure SRE Agent Platform, including agent capabilities, orchestration, evaluation, and supporting platform services.
- Build and iterate on agentic systems, tools, planning and execution loops, evaluations, and safety mechanisms.
- Design and ship reliable capabilities for incident detection, diagnosis, mitigation, and operational learning.
- Use telemetry, experiments, evaluations, and user feedback to guide product iteration and investment.
- Contribute to resilient, observable production systems and participate in debugging, live-site learning, and post-incident hardening.
- Partner with engineers, SREs, and product counterparts to solve ambiguous problems and contribute to architecture and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, or Python.
- Preferred: 3+ years building and operating cloud platforms or distributed services, including service architecture, deployment, and observability.
- Preferred: hands-on production experience building and operating generative AI or agentic systems with ownership of quality, reliability, and iteration.
- Preferred: experience designing, running, and optimizing evaluations for agentic systems, including tools, prompts, and agent loops.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, or cloud-native infrastructure, and contributing to or leading large-scale open-source projects.
