Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and provide ongoing support for the Workday Core platform, Workday Extend solutions, and custom integrations.
- Develop business solutions and integrations for SaaS platforms in partnership with architects, stakeholders, product managers, and delivery teams.
- Participate in planning, definition, design, integration, and release activities for IT products and applications.
- Deliver scalable full-stack components and features and provide proactive technical solutions based on business requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market.
- Implement automation and software delivery pipelines, including testing and continuous integration and delivery activities.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to other team members.
- Support application and cloud engineering activities and collaborate with vendors on SaaS platform support.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level or equivalent technical education such as BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, or MCA from an accredited college or university.
- At least 7 years of full-stack software programming experience building scalable, high-efficiency applications.
- Workday Certification and at least 4 years of Workday Integration module implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Boomerang Integrations, PECI, WECI, and Worksheets.
- Strong software engineering experience with a record of independently delivering full-stack components and features.
- Experience with Java, REST API development, API gateways, AWS, automation, delivery pipelines, Jenkins, Concourse, Git Stash, and Artifactory.
- Experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, Lambda, RDS, EFS, and S3.
- Familiarity with CloudWatch, Datadog, modern UI frameworks such as Angular, and SaaS platforms.
- Preferred experience includes Workday Extend application development, Worksheets, Adaptive Planning, participation across Workday implementation phases, Unix and shell scripting, JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js, and React.
- Ability to work in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban and collaborate effectively in paired programming and iterative development settings.
