Base Salary
$219k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for federal defense and civilian prospects and customers.
- Design, document, and defend secure, compliant Harvey architectures in government environments, including identity and access patterns, integrations, and data-handling requirements.
- Own the technical thread for federal accounts from initial conversation through rollout, adoption, and expansion.
- Partner with Security & Trust on FedRAMP High controls, DoD Impact Levels, ATO boundaries, and NIST 800-53 security reviews.
- Translate agency workflows and legal or policy use cases into concrete solutions, reusable patterns, and implementation playbooks.
- Synthesize public-sector field feedback to inform product roadmaps, evaluation criteria, deployment options, and documentation.
- Represent Harvey in customer workshops, working groups, stakeholder briefings, and other public-sector forums.
- Build a scalable public-sector Solutions Architecture playbook covering qualification, security review, deployment patterns, and enablement.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Direct experience selling to or supporting U.S. federal customers, including Department of Defense and/or civilian agencies, at a SaaS or cloud provider.
- Experience navigating agency security reviews and procurement.
- Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD Impact Levels, and ATO processes.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS security and identity architecture, including SSO/SAML, SCIM, encryption and key management, data residency, and audit logging.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including program managers, attorneys, CISOs, and enterprise architects.
- Hands-on engagement with modern AI systems, including LLMs, prompt design, evaluation, and deployment patterns.
- Ability to operate in an emerging practice area and create new playbooks.
- Prior government service or military experience is preferred.
- Experience with Azure Government or other government cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience selling through federal systems integrators or contract vehicles is preferred.
- Background in legal, e-discovery, or other document-heavy enterprise workflows is preferred.
