Base Salary
$204k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Airbnb product teams to understand their pain points and drive adoption of tooling and frameworks.
- Work closely with Android and iOS engineers to develop foundational, cross-platform solutions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams and support product foundation teams in building additional capabilities.
- Participate in all phases of software development from architecture/design through implementation, testing, and on-call.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Extensive experience with TypeScript for web application development, including GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Experience on a Platform, Infrastructure, or Developer Productivity team in a medium to large engineering organization.
- Strong understanding of client networking, performance optimization, caching strategies, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving best practices for web client development.
- Ability to influence engineering strategy and shape technical priorities.
- Interest in developing internal tooling and CLI applications; experience with agentic AI solutions is a plus.
