Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers.
- Own day-to-day technical delivery, priorities, and quality.
- Support team development through mentoring, feedback, and knowledge-sharing.
- Review technical work and promote strong engineering practices.
- Develop and improve Snowflake-based data solutions and pipelines.
- Build scalable ELT/ETL workflows using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch, or similar tools.
- Drive best practices around SQL, data modeling, testing, data quality, and CI/CD.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support pragmatic solutions.
- Help teams adopt modern and more efficient ways of working.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on Snowflake expertise.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring Data Engineers.
- Strong SQL and modern data pipeline experience.
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, and Fivetran/Stitch or equivalent.
- Good understanding of data modeling, data quality, and cloud data platforms.
- Strong communication skills in French and English at C1 level.
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering with team leadership.
- Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
- Snowflake Cortex or AI experience is a plus.
- Python, Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hightouch, Census, CDP platform, or Snowflake/dbt certification experience is a plus.
