Responsibilities
- Manage security and compliance activities across the ION platform.
- Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified by security scanning tools.
- Own SBOM, CVE tracking, and software supply chain compliance processes.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and security assessments.
- Develop and maintain security, compliance, and process automation solutions.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, CloudOps, Security, QA, and release management teams to resolve issues.
- Support secure software development lifecycle practices across engineering teams.
- Track compliance metrics and provide status reports to stakeholders.
- Design, develop, test, deliver, troubleshoot, and maintain software features.
- Document technical decisions, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in security and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience with security and compliance practices in cloud or enterprise software environments.
- Experience with GitLab Ultimate, automated scanning tools, Veracode, Qualys, SBOM processes, Jenkins, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security automation and compliance reporting.
- Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, and relational databases.
