Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, resilient, secure systems for high-traffic, real-time environments.
- Design AWS-native serverless solutions using relevant AWS services.
- Architect agentic AI and MCP solutions.
- Estimate effort to support planning and budgeting.
- Define cloud infrastructure requirements for the platform team.
- Optimize performance and cost across AWS services using CloudWatch and observability tools.
- Implement security best practices involving IAM, encryption, and compliance.
- Mentor teams on AWS architecture patterns and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of overall experience, including at least five years in cloud architecture.
- At least 12 years of AWS Architecture experience as additionally specified in the posting.
- Deep expertise in AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, PySpark, AWS Step Functions, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SNS, Amazon SQS, Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SES, Apache Kafka/MSK, Amazon S3, Amazon Aurora for PostgreSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Bedrock, and Amazon SageMaker.
- Exposure to agentic AI architecture, effective prompting, and Amazon Q.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, cloud security, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification and AWS ML Specialist certification.
- 15 years of full-time education.
