Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and evolve backend services using Java and Python.
- Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs with appropriate versioning and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Develop APIs, microservices, and integrations for mission-critical environments with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Write unit, integration, load, stress, and performance tests.
- Support cloud deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement logging, monitoring, observability, code tuning, and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product owners.
- Participate in code reviews, estimations, and technical solution definition.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot and with Python using Flask or FastAPI.
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Knowledge of API security including JWT, OAuth2, CORS, and rate limiting.
- Experience with Docker and application containerization.
- Practical experience with Git, CI/CD, automated deployment, and continuous integration.
- Knowledge of JMeter or Locust, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Sentry is desirable.
- Experience with Hibernate or SQLAlchemy, microservices, event-driven architectures, and AWS or Azure services such as Lambda, SQS, and ECS is desirable.
- Technical English for reading and writing documentation and code is desirable.
