Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain frontend applications and marketing sites on Sanity CMS from content schema through rendered page.
- Partner with marketing, content, SEO, and GEO stakeholders to create scalable frontend architecture for global teams.
- Build reusable components, templates, and tooling that enable non-engineers to manage content safely.
- Own performance, accessibility, technical SEO, and AI-crawler readiness across web properties.
- Integrate analytics, marketing automation, personalization, and other third-party services and APIs from the frontend.
- Use Claude Code, Copilot, or internal AI-assisted development tools for prototyping, code review, refactoring, and documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing process improvement.
- Collaborate with design, product marketing, production, editorial, and growth teams while adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional front-end web development experience.
- Hands-on production experience with Sanity CMS or a comparable headless or structured-content CMS such as Contentful, Contentstack, or Storyblok using GraphQL.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and a component-based frontend framework such as React, Astro, or Next.js.
- Understanding of server-side rendering or static generation, component design, state management, and build tooling.
- Experience working in agile or scrum environments with iterative delivery and shifting priorities.
- Everyday experience using AI coding tools in an engineering workflow.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working with marketing and content stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with medium-to-large production websites, Node.js, backend/API development, data modeling, deployment pipelines, AWS CloudFront, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, GEO, technical SEO, AI crawlers, analytics, tag management, design systems, component libraries, marketing engineering, web platform, or digital experience teams.
