Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical strategy and execution for modular, event-driven, scalable microservices supporting enterprise workflows.
- Design and implement reusable frameworks and self-service modules for service onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Define and promote architectural standards for consistent APIs and event-driven systems.
- Build secure, reliable, observable systems that meet performance and scalability goals.
- Collaborate with senior architects, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams on architecture and delivery decisions.
- Translate product and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Advocate API-first development, CI/CD automation, DevSecOps, maintainability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Use AI-assisted tools for software design, code reviews, test generation, monitoring, operations, and root-cause analysis.
- Lead by example and help teams excel as a technical talent multiplier.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent.
- 4–7 years of full-stack expertise developing cloud-based applications on microservice architectures, including in-depth Java knowledge.
- Experience coordinating cross-cutting initiatives in a product organization and collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience engaging Product Managers to clarify requirements and deliver technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA, JUnit, Node.js, Express, SQL/NoSQL, and Git.
- Technical expertise across AWS and GCP, with proficiency in Ansible, containers, Kubernetes, Temporal, and Terraform.
- Experience with observability tools including Grafana, AppDynamics, and PagerDuty.
- Basic understanding of SAML, JWT, OAuth, and microservices.
- Knowledge of data modeling with RDBMS, XSD, and JSON; database/XML interaction; SQL; ORM; and RDBMS databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and RDS.
- Ability to demonstrate technical leadership, curiosity, persistence, creativity, ownership, and a commitment to excellence.
