Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and pain points and design solutions using open-source and Diagrid technologies.
- Create and deliver customer demonstrations and build proof-of-concept solutions in multiple programming languages.
- Provide architecture guidance for cloud-native applications, distributed systems, and multi-cloud or platform environments.
- Help prospective customers adopt Dapr and onboard them to Diagrid Cloud.
- Write code collaboratively with customers to help them successfully implement solutions.
- Gather customer feedback, scope feature requests into user stories, and influence product priorities and strategic direction.
- Communicate customer pain points and opportunities to product and leadership teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Developer Advocate, or similar technical customer-facing role.
- Experience as a cloud architect or Technical Product Manager is especially desirable.
- Experience designing and building enterprise applications and solutions.
- Solid understanding of computer science principles, particularly distributed systems.
- Solid developer experience with at least one of Java, .NET, or Go.
- Good experience with Node and Python.
- Experience with open-source software and Git-based version control systems.
- Experience with modern application architectures and cloud-native development practices.
- Ability to shift priorities quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Bonus experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container-based systems; public cloud providers; ASP.NET Core, Express, Django, or Spring Boot; and Dapr.
- Excellent customer engagement, communication, and technical solution-design skills.
