Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Resolve top-tier technical escalations through to completion.
- Respond to developer support requests involving the API and developer environment.
- Partner with Support, Success, Onboarding, and Engineering to improve customer experiences and product quality.
- Participate in the development cycle and identify supportability issues before features ship.
- Own specific technical domains across the platform and serve as a go-to expert.
- Build and maintain internal tools, scripts, and automations that help Product Support resolve more customer issues independently.
- Identify incident patterns, anticipate risks, and drive preventative improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering at a fast-paced SaaS company.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs, REST, cURL, Postman, logs, debugging methods, and internal tooling or scripting with Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience owning a technical area or system end to end, including escalations, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort with sprint planning, engineering rituals, and translating supportability concerns into actionable engineering input.
- Strong judgment, communication, mentoring, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Preferred experience includes POS systems, payments, hardware-integrated platforms, Jira, Zendesk, Intercom, Retool, Zapier, n8n, Git, GitHub, SaaS architecture, and front-end or back-end development practices.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $122,000–$165,000 annually in NYC, the SF Bay Area, and Seattle, and $113,000–$153,000 annually in other U.S. locations, with potential variable compensation.
