Base Salary
$190k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build robust, production-grade agentic AI systems for enterprise-scale use.
- Serve as the lead individual contributor and technical standard-bearer for a growing backend AI team.
- Provide technical leadership through code, design reviews, mentorship, and systems design.
- Research emerging AI techniques and translate them into practical, reliable engineering practices.
- Extend and evolve services while keeping system complexity low and the codebase maintainable.
Requirements
- Formal background in computer science or a related technical discipline; a master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Python and its ecosystem, including FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or LlamaIndex.
- Ability to write elegant, well-tested code and design strong systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous situations with clear communication.
- Willingness to work in person at the NYC office at least 3 days per week.
