Base Salary
$225k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the architecture of a cloud-hosted control plane, including containerization, microservices, and orchestration.
- Participate in implementing scalable software-defined storage components.
- Lead design discussions, build prototypes, and contribute to high-quality product delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and improve solution scalability, stability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers and integrate a group of engineers in an outcome-oriented environment.
- Work with program management to deliver product releases successfully.
- Contribute to and validate product documentation.
- Manage and complete assigned projects and provide regular progress and activity reports.
- Travel occasionally for team meetings or training as required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience across file systems, concurrency, distributed systems, or server architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with C/C++ on Linux/UNIX systems.
- Direct experience with scale-out, high-availability storage solutions.
- Ability to work across cloud-native architecture and on-premises infrastructure.
- Deep storage or file-system knowledge such as Lustre or GPFS is valued but not mandatory.
- Strong architectural range, hands-on ability, and some storage exposure are encouraged.
