Base Salary
$164k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the Quicksilver UI for authoring, previewing, and delivering email, push, and in-app messages across markets and locales.
- Own frontend features using React and TypeScript, including component design, implementation, and server-side creative rendering.
- Debug and modify Java and Apollo services and evolve gRPC, Protobuf, and REST API contracts.
- Trace data through BigQuery and improve pipeline output for messaging workflows.
- Support localization and multi-market launches by ensuring creatives render reliably across locales.
- Partner with product and design to shape features based on operator needs.
- Improve testing infrastructure, build performance, component documentation, and integration tooling.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the platform’s technical direction.
Requirements
- Experience building complex web applications with TypeScript and modern UI frameworks such as React.
- Understanding of state management, GraphQL, Apollo, component-scoped styling, and reusable component-library design.
- Experience building tools or platforms for internal users and creating intuitive, reliable operator experiences.
- Comfort working across frontend and backend systems, including Java services and gRPC, Protobuf, or REST API contracts.
- Ability to work with Scala or Python for pipelines and APIs and navigate GCP, GKE, BigQuery, or GCS.
- Ability to evaluate technical debt and communicate tradeoffs among maintaining, improving, and migrating systems.
- Experience working across shared codebases and collaborating on common components and services.
- Experience with data pipelines, LLM applications such as RAG or vector search, or server-side rendering is a plus.
