Base Salary
$219k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand SLED customers’ business and technical challenges and develop technical strategies positioning Cisco solutions.
- Design and implement solutions for K–12, higher education, and local government customers.
- Collaborate with partners, architecture teams, and the CX organization to drive solution adoption and optimization.
- Partner with the Account Manager on discovery, demonstrations, technical deliverables, and pipeline development.
- Build customer relationships through regular in-person meetings and ongoing non-transactional engagement.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing field-sales engineering or network engineering role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Cisco networking, security, collaboration, or cloud technologies.
- Proven record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Preferred: CCNP, CCDP, or similar vendor certification.
- Preferred: knowledge of SDN, AI/ML, DevOps, and cloud solutions including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: proficiency with Python, RESTCONF, NETCONF, YANG Suite, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with IOS-XE, Firepower, Meraki, NX-OS, ACI, and NDFC.
- Preferred: strong technical presentation skills for technical, non-technical, and C-level audiences.
