Responsibilities
- Participate in presales activities including solution design, cost estimation, proposal presentations, and partner enablement.
- Independently develop solution proposals for presales RFPs and RFIs.
- Drive application and infrastructure assessments and define cloud modernization and migration paths.
- Architect GCP-based cloud infrastructure and modernization solutions for legacy applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to explain solution concepts and influence technical teams.
- Mentor partner engineering teams and enforce cloud architecture best practices.
- Work with sales teams to qualify leads, present solutions, answer technical questions, and attend customer and partner meetings.
- Represent Ingram Micro at events and workshops across India.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in IT architecture or presales solutions roles.
- At least 4–5 years focused on Google Cloud, hybrid cloud, infrastructure modernization, or managed services.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud infrastructure, GKE, Terraform, CI/CD tools, observability, databases, and modernization projects.
- Experience migrating legacy systems, virtual machine workloads, and databases, including SQL Server to PostgreSQL or AlloyDB.
- Knowledge of networking, cloud security, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, multi-cloud architectures, and Cross-Cloud Interconnect.
- Experience with observability frameworks such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical problem-solving, technical presentation, and demonstration skills.
- Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification is listed; Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Database Engineer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, and Associate Google Workspace Administrator certifications are optional or additional qualifications.
- Exposure to generative AI and agentic frameworks.
